If it wasn't bad enough with all my other crap, I've just noticed my eye sight getting progressively worse and worse the last 3 months or so
I used to have perfect vision, both long and short! Could read anything no sweat...
Then about 9 months ago or something, my long vision slowly started deteriorating - first noticed in a lecture when i was sitting at the back and said to my mate 'Would help if the lecture notes were in focus!' and he was like 'what you on about, I can read it?' ... and then realised I could no longer see things far away...
... progressively this has got worse, in that I now sometimes can't even see who someone is when they're far away.
but my short vision was fine... lately (last 3 months and last month in particular) my short vision seems to be going to shit too! I'm starting to struggle to read text, and it looks like everything in the fore ground is covered in slight grey areas splattered around...
When I cover my right eye (looking through my left) - I can read in focus, but there's a massive like blind spot which i just can't see much in... when I cover my left eye looking through my right - a lot of it is blurred, but not blind spot.
Weird as fuck, as less than 12 months ago my vision was spot on and up to 3 months ago i had no problems short sighted! Worried where this is gonna end?
Surely people who have glasses, just can't focus on things close or far away - i could understand if that was just my problem, but i don't get all these blind spots and grey areas in my vision
Brain tumour pushing on the back of the eyes???

I'm hoping this is seriously it... last 6- 9 months I've been stuck infront of computer screen working on work, and last 3 months been seriously seriously stressed...
What are the chances that once this is over, away from a computer screen for a few months (I plan on going travelling) that it'll all sort itself out?

Just make sure you don't get them swapped by accident.

thats the thing though gav, it doesn't matter where I hold things, close or far away... I just seem to have these blind spots in my vision...
I had a bad migrane about a year ago, where the complete central part of my vision just stopped - leaving me with a massive blind spot in the middle of my vision, so I could only see the peripheral areas (so If i was looking directly at someones face, I'd not see the center of their face) ... but that passed in like 30 mins and it was fine again...
I wonder if it's something like that again... but I think currently my brain is compensating a lot more for my eyes, as parts of words etc are just missing, but my brain can tell what those words will be so i can still read things ok.
