is it part of the map on the ecu? or like an actual component on the car?

reason i ask is my car currently doesnt have it but i want it for when i get a remap done.
so what would i have to get done in order to get tcs on my car?

thanks in advance

its a wheel speed sensor iirc, which limits the power when the wheel speed shoots up too quickly as it senses it losing traction, if it will be the standard ecu that gets remapped then the tc feature should still remain

its part of the ABS system on most cars, usually has its own ecu as a control. not always easy to retro fit but can be done on some cars.

yes, most cars use the same sensor to give a signal for ABS and TC. however, the sensor does not control the systems.
