Dodgy relay/fuse in the heated rear screen system - It just stays on until 'pop' and you have free aircon....

Heard of it happening a few times - Also happened to my mums BMW

Tigra's are meant to automatically open the front windows slightly when the boot is closed. You must have fucking slammed it

Happened on my mates, Dads Cougar.

The switch for the heater is dodgy and it stays on untill the heated screen pops because it doesnt know when to switch off.

Common on Escorts but never heard of it on a Mondeo before.

Anything can be on if its dodgy.

If electrics go wrong, It doesnt matter when. Just get the electrics checked before putting new glass in incase it happens again and it costs more again.
