to a 1.4 16v so far i now about these,

new inlet (manzel rep box)
performance manifold
decat
drill airbox with panel filter

what else would you say?

Cams, Headwork, Bolts and management.

in all serious i dont know wouldnt of thought they were that tunable so the above statement is probably a good idea

all the above what i wrote plus a remap what type of gains would you see from it then? good gains?

Problem with a powerbox is you get peaky power. Plus no real increase in torque.

If I was to do a 1.6 again, i'd go throttle bodies.

In the long run costs the same, but better.

I really don't see the point spending a load of money tuning a small block engine. Just stick with an exhaust/filter and maybe a chip. I spent over £3000 tuning my old 1.6 Corsa and can now see what a waste of money that was!

my mates 1.4 16v is running between 150 and 170 bhp but we cant tell yet because the engine aint run in
