I thought that this was saying they were making it pre 2001 cars as well, but it isn't.

As Colin says, has been known and discussed for weeks.

Their not are they? Just 2001 onwards are going with CO2 output, pre 2001 are just on the old system?

If you use the thing on parkers it states anything before 2001 to be the same cost £200 a yr or whatever!

It's the way it's always been, pre 2001 is still the 2 tax brackets as it has been.

It was thought vehicles up to seven years old would be exempt from the shake-up, designed to penalise high emissions.

But now it has emerged their owners will have to pay the new road duties after all.

Yep i know some1 with brand new GB270 Scooby and the garage he bought it from put 6month on it and it was like £400.

Im sure big Range Rovers are £900+ for the 1st year then its down to £400ish.

Vehicles up to 2001, which everybody else knew weren't exempt, pre 2001 is still the 2 old brackets.
