went into a petshop yesterday and seen some baby map turtles which looked awesome and thought i mite get some..
just wondering, has anybody else got them and what are they like to look after etc?

My mate does, keeps it in tank with bearded dragon, seems fairly easy to look after, seem to just feed it greens

tortoise eats greens dont they? turtles eat fish and other meat the guy recons?

are you on about the tiny ones that live in fresh water, and are about double the size of a 50p coin?
if so, i wouldnt bother. boring things that dont do much at all. my lass bought 3 and they had died within 3 weeks, and 2 other mates also bought them and they lasted about the same.

i was looking in to getting some
but they can grow up to a foot long so i didnt have the space

does it have lots of water to swim in
if it doesnt its a tortise
if it does it can be very dangerous for the beardy (alot of people dont even put a water bowl in a bd vivarium )

i have a tortoise, there pretty hard to care for when it comes to winter etc - wouldent suggest them as the easyest pets to look after
turtels not to clued up on
