Hi everyone, I'm Carl, been browsing the site for a while, just bought my first car tonight so thought I'd sign up lol..

Its a 1 litre lol, start small, but a GLS so has all electric windows etc...

Paid £640 for it off t'ebay lol... what you think??

i had that colour blue corsa also (Sport though), pics in my garage..didnt do much tbh! but lowered, compomotivess and grille, drilled airbox..the usual really and not expensive, except the wheels :S !

orite mate, erm not too sure yet lol, usual cheap mods for now lol, debadge when I get home from work tomorrow lol... lowering springs ordered.. 60mm.. think it might need more eventually but they will do for now... might just keep them wheels and paint them a darker colour for now, but I want old Astra GSI turbine style wheels (or at least I think there from an Astra) lol.. just a decent sound system, nothing too fancy, just so it sounds gd lol...

Anyone got any ideas as cheapish mods??

hi mate, welcome to CS

as for cheap mod's:

-smoked/clear side repeaters.
-flat blade front wipers.
-fiat marea rear wiper or a grommit to cover the hole if you take the whole wiper out like i did.
-debadge whole car
-colour coded boot lock
-opel/vauxhall mudflaps
-take rub strips off
-debadged grille
-uprated headlight and sidlight bulbs

loads of stuff you can do really mate

i'm sure if you get stuck then someone will always be here to help, it's the busiest car forum i've ever been on which is good as you can expect a speedy reply

I'm going to get some clear side repeatersand a de-badged grill when I get my wage on thursday lol...
I've seen some people put fiat punto rear wipers on which look good, better than the flimsy corsa one lol, I though about taking the rear wiper out but I think I'm gonna leave it in, (for now at least) lol..
One of my sidelights is gone anyway so I'm gonna get some new bulbs soon...
Yeah I kinda noticed how helpful you lot are already! haha.. Just can't wait to drive it now! lol

Do you think them wheels would look better black/dark grey or left silver??
