thinking of selling or breaking it as cant get it through the MOT
how much would it be worth if broken or sold as is?
1997 1.6 sport Vauxhall Corsa formally 1.4 16v - First Use 11/98 Shell has done - 73,000 miles, Engine has done 45,000 miles - just had New cam Belt, tensioner and rollers also water pump. Oil change 100 miles ago, new gearbox fluid, power steering fluid etc.
Failed MOT on
Excessive Blue Smoke - Piston Rings
Front McPhearson Strut Needs to be tightened.
Co2 Level too High.

i know i have already thought along those lines, but insurance would be the real killer,
plus i just dont want to spend so much more money doing another conversion 
if i could sort this enging out for little money then id be really happy.
anyone know rough costs of getting new piston rings done?

Head will have to come off so it's all gaskets. You've already done the belt so thats ok. I think Mr Vsport can get you some rings or try out AutoVaux on 01924 376003.
