I'll Keep it short...
Went to go out... couldn't find my driving license - gone... lame...
Went out with mates and got my phone stolen (walked out and it wasn't in my pocket any more ) - so lost all my contacts etc...
Got up today went to start my laptop (bare in mind that I have exams starting in 3 days and all my work / notes are in my laptop!) ... and it wouldn't start ... seemed slightly f*cked!
On getting in my car to drive home it felt like possibly the clutch is about to explode (probably battered it with my downshifts into quarry at combe last sat) - it was gripping and not gripping randomly and stuff...
Finally got home, walked in the door and told my mum the shit 24 hrs i'd had and then she told me it's worse and that my dad had been knocked off his motorbike Bike has a load of damage etc...
Luckily he's alright, just bruised ribs maybe broken finger.
Either way - what a 24 hours - there were also loads of other little random things that happened that were quite bad too... but sucks

Don't know, got a feeling this will cost me a decent mark in my degree to be honest.
I've really put in the effort this year, barely left my uni room doing so much work. Every piece of coursework I've had back this year has been minimum 70% (1st!) - some have been 88-90% (which on my computer science course is usually unheard of... for example got a piece of work the other day that said Excellent! - 72% if it's 'Excellent' give me 80 at least
Got my project handed in and done and feel it's gone alright, tutor already said this should get a 1st!
However, exams are worth 70% of modules and without my laptop I'm going to be seriously stuffed... Yes I can download the slides off the internet but i don't have all the other stuff, like practical / coursework examples... plus I can't sit anywhere and relax with a PC... so it's harder for me to sit and learn for long stints of time...
(Really Hope I can get that data off the hard drive! as I've got a few pieces of software I was making that I'd be gutted if i lost!).
Also I've wasted time running about trying to get new phone sims / visiting the club i was at etc!
And before anyone says 'you shouldn't be out if you have exams soon!' - it was my house mates Birthday - would be a tad harsh to refuse to go out for it.
Cheers for the comments guys, I always find that you get waves of bad luck... Ironically it was perhaps straight after the project report was done, it all started going down hill! Riise! 94th minute my bet on liverpool to win
Ta cb87 ... I do believe in Karma too... If you're horrible to people you'll get bad luck.
I used to be nasty to everyone at school / college and wind people up all the time for my own amusement and my life as a result was shit, full of bad luck and bad things... These days I try to be nice to anyone I meet (tend not to stick to this on the internet, afterall it's just the internetz ) and generally my life improved the nicer i was to other people... however, every now and then i just get hit by a wall of shitness. Middle of the day today I was putting money in charity tins and buying big issues to try to turn it around
Could be quite possibly being harsh to cb87 Sorry

Bad day Paul But every cloud has a silver lining! There will be a way of getting your coursework off of your laptop, your dads accident could of been so much worse. Harsh luck with the phone though! But come on now, you should be expecting shit with the car

your dads ok so look at that as a positive pal. when your having a bad time even the most trivial things can seem far worse than they are which doesn't help. things can only get better though eh?
