Do people rate the Sigma lenses?

It's just for an official 70-200mm I'm looking at £600 or so, whereas for the sigma it's about £80. I prefer that price

Sigma are half decent. Id buy one, infact I want to. Canon or Nikon lenses arent any better built, they will only charge more for the name.
