Been to a few places in Liverpool but just dont fancy getting it done by them, for anyone that knows, been the one by stanley street in town and he couldnt be bothered to work something out with me for a cover up, Tattoo jack in Tuebrook, hes done a few for my mates hes good but has made some small silly mistakes which has put me off, and the new one Oakeys in Halewood, I took a few pictures in of what I wanted and he wanted me to go away and draw it for him   I can draw and have drew out what I want, but just would of liked more input from the tattooist and for him to tidy it up.
So any recomendations? Example of work? Or just an excuse to show off your tattoo wherever your from? 
P.s I have done a search.

There's a decent small place of dale street Jay, one of the roads along by the majestrates court.... one of my mates from an old job went there and thought it was good, he'll design stuff for you aswell iirc but not so cheap....
Will have a look for a website..

you'd be very lucky to get louis to do you a tattoo now. hew a tv star and all that. worse thing is he'll be employing tattooists to run his shop when he has no time. they'll have his reputation but will probably be shit.

He has been employing people to run that shop for years now, as he tends to guest in a lot of shops around the country - hence why he had an 18month waiting list last time.
And I doubt he'll employ shit, did you see him on that London Ink - the guy is a perfectionist and expects the same from his employees!

Yeh I expect to pay a bit more Tom, but I think its worth it considering ive got to live with it, ive already got one I dont want! Not really sure where you mean, by paradise street?
Theres one called Dermagraffiti, it was in quiggins I dont know if its moved to the old BarCerlona though with the rest of quiggins? Seen some of there work on BMEink and they look alright, supposedly got a shop in Birkenhead aswell.

That tribal life is where I first went to about my cover up, all he was interested in was putting a tribal over it and thats not what I wanted. I wanted something on my back too and he just didnt seem interested, didnt like his attitude, that was about 2 years ago now though so. I dont have much luck with them
Edit: Dont even know if it was "Richie" that I was speaking to, there was a few tattooists working there at the time

My mate had to go in a fair few times for him to take him seriously actually which is a bit silly imo.
Fair enough, the only other one that I've got (good) experience of is where an ex went a few years back not far from prenton park but cant find any details

Tom - Yeh it does seem silly to be like that with customers. Ive already had one bad experience with a tat so it just put me off from going back there. Ok il have a look into it but not really clued up with over the water, so doubt il find much.
MarkM - Dont recall it but il have a look around there.
CB87 - What is it covering up? Mines 3 letters in thick black writing so not much to cover it up with but would of still liked some more input.

it was a name in black and that tat was the only one i liked that would cover it up, it is under the flowers as they are the darkest bit, but they was on another tattoo to start with but the tattooest mad one up for me
