im now £24 worse off each month which if my maths is any good £288 a year Ghey.
heard on the radio something about either him bringing it back in or doing something to do with tax credits anyone know anything? i know it isnt that much of a diff each month but for the year its quite alot more than im willing to lose

Well I get taxed at 22% for my 2nd job earnt just over £400 over Easter working quite hard. £110-ish of that goes on Tax

IMO, i dont see why someone should get taxed 10%, another 20% and another 40%.

if they did that tho addmittedly it would be easier/better for certain people but knowing the way our government is they'd charge everyone at 40% so id deffinatly be screwed

15K or less, and you WILL be worse off. Earn more than that and you WILL be better off

I also dont see why when you hit £40k (or whetever it is) the govt suddenly cains you for 40% of your earnings I dont understand why you cant have a flat rate of 20% say for every wage, would make the tax system a hell of a lot simpler Then again I do tax next year at uni so might understand it better then
