i get about 33mpg in my 1.8 around town. 40ish on a motorway run

I'd say go for a 1.8 they're a lot better engine

I get 300 miles out of a full tank in my 1.6

It's a bit of a hair dryer tbh get a 1.8

i get 400 miles (420 if i push it) on my 1.6 16v. Thats if im driving "economically", i get 350 miles if i give it a few beans

Im going to test the MPG of my 1.8 coupe this weekend, gotta drive 220 miles each way to alton towers. See how much it costs me. Lately i've been getting just short of 300 to a tank

Same with my 1.6 pug.

I should get a cheap car to run really with my miles.

I've seem 500 miles to a tank doing 60 to and from work. Just takes too long though and get some dogy looks

i can get around 380 to £30. never had a full tank so wouldnt now to a tank lol
