Im a named driver on my old mans policy, paying monthly insurance. Just noticed the money hadn't gone out of my bank account this month, so had a brief look for my contract couldn't find the main details but found a sheet which basically says I pay a deposit and then 9 months of monthly payments. Does this mean im only insured for 9 months or still the full 12 months?

I pay monthly, the first payment is usually 2 months worth to start off, the pay a month after that, so in effect you have paid the last month at the start. Not with LV any more but been with them and sure it was the same, best way is to give them a quick ring and ask.

yeah more than likely. I'd have a ring around, i was with liverpool vic at first for 1 or 2 years as they were cheapest, then after that i found cheaper at renewal time.

seriously mate, i'd definitely consider a new policy with you as the main driver and your mum/dad as named drivers.

means you can get NCB and can get bigger engined car's in the future for cheaper insurance
