Was incredibly bored the other day, so using a euro i found and two sockets in a vice, i managed to split the centre from the gold coloured outer ring.

Apparently £2 coins do it too, but im a bit skint the now

Leave a 2 pound coin over something hot for a long peroid and it will expand and seperate the 2.
