im considering buying this plate as my name is Sam W.
but obviously as its shown in the listing picture may attract some police attension! SO if i didnt have it spaced like that it will probably look crap!
What do you lot think?

i wouldn't if i were you.
i thought about a private plate for a while then thought ''if i pissed someone off'' they will know every car i have from the private plate.

the thing is my cars a y reg sri and has all the 2005 interior etc so wana disguise its age abit aswell... 
think its a crap idea? and what fine would i get if it was spaced like the one in the pic?

Mine pisses me off TBH, costs £105 to transfer it between cars and means that you have to delay the sale of a car be 6 weeks, or risk someone writing the car off with your plate on it.
Waste of money.
Ben's point is very valid too.

some people get jealous though.
also, i believe it's a 30 quid fine if you're caught with a plate mis-spaced the 1st time, if it's the 2nd time they apparently inform the dvla and you risk getting the plate taken off you.
i think after a certain time they can also crush/impound your car as it's not road worthy due to the mis-spaced plate.

depends what they're like around you're area, i had german plates for over 9months with no problems, however i know people who havent lasted 20mins...
