Anyone got one? And what size would i need to operate a spray gun to spray bits in my garage? Any recomendations, not too high a price, upto 200 quid.

i got one from aldi dirt cheap, does the job fine for bits like that. Not sure if there still doing them though? Was about 85 quid it think, 120psi.

Yeah, i seen that one, should have go it, will have to see if my local Aldi has them, did you use the spray gun that came with it? Turn out ok for paint jobs?

No i already had a sealey spray gun. Doesnt look too bad, cheap thing but depends what you are painting.

andy do yourself a favour considering the trade your in and buy the best you can. 200 litre and 14 cfm is usually around the best for single phase.

buying a smaller one will break your heart and cost you more in the long run when u realise you should have gottten the largest one you could get

cfm is the biggest factor in a compressors performance. imo speak to someone who fixs them and they can tell you the best one imo. make sure you get one with a gd size motor

mine is an sip 200 litre 13 cfm and tbh for air grinders/cleaning wheels and etc it pisses me off. wish i had bought bigger. and mines just back from service and in tip top order according to the guy who repairs them

Sound, may have to save more, or wait till my bday, do want one though, then can fill any dents i may have etc, and spray it myself.

want one with a big receiver and enough ooomph to power it or it will keep running out and putting splats on your work

Get the biggest you can afford to buy. Also try get good manufacture so you can get parts for it if needed.
