Formally BP Grangemouth - Biggest oil refinery & fuel depo in the UK. Theres been talk about a strike over pension cuts & it seems their going ahead now. I live 2 streets away from the complex & they've been heavy flaring since last night & it seems their starting to shut down units.

This could have a massive effect on fuel supplies over the next week.

They've been talking about this for months. I noticed on Thursday night that the flares were pretty bright. Looks cool at night

(though probably not cool if you have to live right next to it!)
