is it possible to re register a number plate from a previous car not a private plate tho just a normal plate off and old m reg corsa

yes the car was scraped about a yr ago but ive still got the log book and plates from it

i thought the car has to have mot to be able to remove the plate?

my current car is tax and tested but the old 1 has nothing it was scraped about a yr ago now

yes but i think the car that you want the plate off has to have mot iirc.
my mates dad has an old porsche with private plate on(my mate initials) but the porsche hasnt moved in 5 years and wont be going for an mot anytime soon and because of that he cant get the plate off it so has had to buy another one. i might be wrong but im pretty sure thats the case mate

nice 1 cheers fella im guna phone dvla monday n c wat they say cause its not a private plate but its the itnials for my gf so wanna try keep it
