Two good mates of mine own an Astra SRi Turbo and the other a Leon Cupra R and the only difference between the two is that the leon will start to pull away from the Astra at about 130mph.

Remeber the astra weighs about 200kg less than the leon.

One of my neighbours a few doors down has a 52 reg one in black with 64k on the clock. I've told him to let me know when he sells as I may be interested.
Saw a blue one outside cortenay sport this morning and it looked lovely.

Only 10 or 25bhp in it standard for standard, i expect they weigh nearly the same- both being 1300kg? Will be down to gearing, wont be a great deal in it. Mine has 358 lb/ft of torque

20bhp in itits hardly going to be muich in it at all, you have to have a siginificant more amount of power or alot less weight to win "easily" against a similar matched car.

I have 312bhp 389ft lbs torque in my Mk4

Cars like DB9's! M3's blah blah are not much of a problem

I have most of the whiteline catalogue as well so it goes around corners!

Good cars for the money

r1ch you could put a gold bar in and people would still complain

the interiors are nice place to be really comfortable and most toys cars like this have, feels well built inside like vw so no complaints here

Mine was ok but I only got it as I couldnt afford a LCR at the time.

Nice to drive but regardless what you spend on suspension its never going to be a poised car.

Interiors are ok but a bit bland but ergonomic and easy to live with.

I cant belive how much they have depreciated in the last few months!
