Have seen a one flying around the area and they are dead sexy.. however
Insurance is going to be a killer and the car itself is going for around £25-£30 depending on milage and condition.
Anyone driven them or heard anything bad about them ? heres a piccy

My blob eye STI was 320bhp, won't be much difference. Amazing cars, nothing else needs saying.
Insurance isn't a "killer" either tbh.

Fuels the only killer, though if you can afford 30k for a car you might not be moved by the fat it likes to guzzle!

Why I got rid, mate!
Amazing cars, no doubt about it. I just couldn't be assed with the fuel costs mostly. It's ok at first, but after 2yrs impreza ownership I wanted cheap running again. £20 lasts me all week now, yet it used to last me 2 days in the Impreza

I found the difference between driving nicely and going for it were marginal tbh. It guzzles fuel from switching it on.
My jap one was worse, 120miles to a full tank
Trust me tho, there's no way you'll resist smokin' it on the motorway. This is the difference with cars like this over a turbo corsa or somethin, they're designed for all this power! 160mph no probs just blasting along. In a corsa, saxo, or the likes (if you could get it to that speed) you seriously feel like you're about to die, it'd be bouncing around like a cunt, etc.

do a lot of driving from airport to airport.. so could be around 80miles a day ish..
then in a few months time im going to and from all the uk airports (im into software sales and support now) so will be from London to Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester and Glasgow... some of it i can fly instead of drive but i get 50p a mile petrol allowance from my company. dont know if that will go anywhere near to covering it all tho ? Only just thinking of cars for future that will be a bit of fun. and this is on the top of my list.
others do include Audi A5, RS4 (older shape) Golf Mk 5 GTi or R32... so many really cos for £25k you can get a lot of cars

I used to get 15mpg if that helps you work it all out.
Personally, I wouldn't get an impreza if I was gonna be doin your kind of mileage.

That's not to say you wouldn't have an awesome 80miles everyday! Then again, an RS4 would do the job
