anybody watch it?
bloke built himself a castle style house in the green belt after finding a loop hole in the law where aslong as nobody objects after 4 years of it being built you can build whatever the fuk you want. so he put up a box of straw 25feet high and 50 metres long and built his house inside, hid it for 4 years and then took the bales of straw down. looks amazing, half castle, half tudor mansion.

See the town house with the huge cracks, like fuck would i be living in that.
Yes and the castle the planning department is objecting to it and taking him to court at the moment over it,was on the news a while back.
Admire his dedication though

There was a guy we knew who bought some land with the intention of building a house on it, but was denied new build permission over and over. So he applied for permission to extend the old, falling-down shed in the middle of it, and just built out from that.
Then the shed fell down one day, lucky the house was complete by then!

I'd like to see him up on the roof taking pot shots at Kosovans and Albanians pouring off the continent...

We had to do something similar on our farm. We had to pretend that we lived in some stables for 8 years before we were allowed a house on the property...

Saw that in the newspaper long ago. Council wanted to make him demolish it. Bastards! That is/was a nice place
