..for a light switch to start working the opposite way

Our kitchen light now has 2 switches up 2 switches down in order to have all the lights out Before it was 3 down, 1 up

no idea then, its like, we have a switch at the bottom of the stairs, one at the top. turn the light on, go upstairs to bed, turn the light off. changes the switches if u know what i mean.
