a persons name from a phone number? Ive had a situation arise and would like to know who is behind it all, i have their number, its on o2. Strangely, no one answers and eventually goes to voicemail.....

try it from various numbers, get others to try it. When they answer ask for someone random and when they say you've got the wrong number ask who they are....or try and recognise the voice.

Other than that I dont think their is a way.

no luck. Mate said it went through to voicemail aswel. Someone else spoken to o2 and said they cant release it dues to data protection act

ring up from withheld numbers and business ones like 0207 0208 and just mind fuck them by saying "hi whos this?" or try what Cosmo sugguesting. Some people dont expect it and just go "OH I'M BARRY" or whatever.
