Rightio, got a letter comfirming my job.

I need to now write a letter back to them accepting the post. What should I include in the letter? It's within the same company etc...

The letter also has these 2 statements... Does this mean I have to still write my resignation from my current job?

"Please note that this letter serves as an amendment to your written Statement of Paticulars of Employment and is issued in accordance with the Employment Rights Act, 1996."

"Please confirm in writing, your intention to accept this post on the terms offered. Once i have recieved your acceptance of this offer of employment, i will write to you again confirming your appointment"

Any help, mucho appreciated.

It doesn't need to say much, but you say it is within the same company as you are working now.

I'd go along the lines of:

"Thank you for your letter dated ....

I hereby confirm my acceptance of the [name of post] within the company. I await your confirmation of my appointment and revised contract as appropriate.

Yours
name"

Only needs to be simple.
