Is Sheffield good for a night out?

Going there next month for some shopping and a night out with the missus.

Also has anybody stayed at the Leopold Hotel, and is it near the nightlife and stuff?

I work in Embrace Nightclub... it's shit on a weekend, but Student nights are very good if you can blag your way in.

Baselines aren't 'banned' we just chose not to play any... we are still playing stuff like H 'Two' O, Delinquint etc, the commercial ones... but even then we're trying to play house club mix'.

Sheffield is a decent nite out, if you stay out of the places where all the wankers go! Really depends on what music/atmosphere you want!
Leopald hotel is quite nice ,sometimes go in for a drink! Just next to it is some nice bars and restaurants!
