right my handbreak cables about to snap, its got its m.o.t next week so they said they will sort it out then.
How much roughly does it cost for a new cable and labor (roughly)

how do you know the handBRAKE cable is about to snap, surely its either snapped or not. If theres excessive travel in the handBRAKE lever it could be that the cables need adjusting; if thats the case its a doddle of a job. The short cable is runs across the rear beam; you'll need a spanner and a set of adjustable mole grips to set it correctly.
