Got a ticket when i was parked in liverpool at the weekend. I parked on a street with only one meter. which was out of order. I took a pic on my mobile and left a not on the windscreen. Come back and the cunt had stuck a ticket on my car. Said the women had observed it for 1min and 3 seconds.

Do they have to give more time? do i have any comeback as i dont want to pay £70 as am skinto as it is at the moment.

cheers

If the meter doesnt work you are advised to find another close by. If not your recommended to move your car to another pay to park.

Hows that? If the machine doesnt work then he hasnt paid. he doesnt HAVE to park there so should either park there and find an alternate machine or park elsewhere.

But if there is only one machine and it isnt working, how can he find another?

Round here if the machine isnt working in one street, you cant use another machine in the next street as they still give you a ticket

Well he shouldnt park there. If its pay and park and you cant pay , Then dont park.

Thats cos the ticket you have bought isnt for that street.

If theres one in that street and its broke, Park elsewhere. Its shit i know, but thats all there is to it.

Hypothetically, if every street within a 2 mile radius was full. Then what? Wouldnt you have the right to park even if you are willing to pay for it? Not your fault you can exercise your willingness to pay....
