It is standard.

My 1993 1.2 8v was 5 speed, and had an F13 from factory.

No, the gearbox number doesn't relate to the engine size at all, its just a code given to that particular gearbox, like the F15 is standard fit on all 1.6 Corsa's, F28 on the turbo's etc.

F13's came in 4- and 5-speed versions.

im fairly sure the 5th gear cluster is just bolted on to the end of the box?

according to Haynes both F10's and F13's were available in 4- and 5-speed variations

if it says f13cr on the box then it's a close ration one.all the f13's i have seen are 5 speed.but they may come in 4 speed too.
