right i kinda knew allready that a decent set of spark plugs and leads can help your engine and fuel consumption ( or so ive been told). i got sent an email by POTN about new spark plugs but i dont know which brand are best. what are you guys or girls currently using?? plugs and leads plus prices cheers

To be honest there isn't really any gain to be had by using different plugs to what the manufacturer recommends, unless you have significantly altered the engine with higher boost/compression. they have spent thousands on developing the engine and wont have overlooked the spark plugs.
Old plugs and leads can give you poor fuel economy and loose a bit of power but standard replacement stuff is fine IMO

ok mate cheers. my plugs look pretty new i think there just NGK. it was the leads i was wondering about mainly as im told old standard leads will have a higher resistance to some mid range ones.

go in there, go to the spark plus there will be some bosh ones, one pack will have +9 on the packet,
ive used nearly every type for road use, and they seems to be the best

Just ask for the standard NGK ones, Resistance in HT leads really means very little because of the high voltage that goes through them. Inductance and shielding are bigger factor from what remember (been a while since I read up on them)
Id stick with the standard leads if I was you, for example, the standard ones on my LET come with a 50% increase in power and I have no need to upgrade them

fine and dandy,
halford will also do a set of bosh leads, they seem ok.
fancy leads are a bit of a waste unless your doning mega things with the engine
