Well my mate picked this little gem up from scotland last sunday at a bargain price of £1500, got a few little drift scares on it that hes goin to sort out but mainly bought it for the engine as he drives it as a fun car.
I had the day off on thursday so i offered to give it a full valet ready for Donny 08 this weekend in return beer for this weekend, so he left it with me wednesday night, started at 8.30am thursday morning.
This is how it looked then, looks reasonably clean in the pics, this was not the case

I then set about washing it as normal, with bucket sponge and pressure washer, once i had done this i sprayed the wheels with autoglym wheel acid and left to soak in, whilst that was doin itsd job i set to detaring the bottom half of the car, i then went back to the wheels and cleaned them as best as i could (very pitted and really need a refurb) this is how they turned out

Next step was to clay the whole car, for people that think clay bars do fuck all, take note of these 3 pictures, this was after a full wash remember and my conclusion is its definetly been sideways more times then forwards as the most dirt came off the door and not the front
Boot:

Front bumper:

Doors:

Result of hard work

I then moved onto the engine, i used metal cleaner and simple silicone spray to tidy it up abit, and also washed the top mounts as best i could,

Last and final step was to polish the car using Autoglym SRP i did this process 3 times and each time it came out better, here are the final pictures, to say i was pleasantly chuffed is and understatement
I know alot of you on here but believe in cleaning a car to this extent but after doin this i feel the outcome was definetly worth it.

i can appreciate why people spend time detailing cars and cleaning them but tbh id rather see a car like that with battle scars and as filthy as a local whore
a polished race/track/drift/etc car just stinks of a smarmy, too much bloody money idiot so wouldnt get a second glance from me
good job tho
