I want a bike to get around on in my area. Sick of driving to the corner shop and I'm not fond of walking
I used to love my BMX, but the question is...
Would I look a nob being age 24 & 6ft tall riding a BMX?

I love taking my old Haro for a blast every now and again however I must admit I use my Mountain for any commuter type activities

I bought a mountain bike recently for similar.
Though as yet I've been too embarrased to bike to the local Tescos as a load of people I know from school (not mates, but know them) work in there and all drive

I've also found some nice mountain bikes, but I used to love mistreating my BMX and throwing it over fences and stuff. Just more convenient.

What Haro frames you got mate? I've got an immaculate 94 Haro Shredder which is pretty much original apart for the Knee Savers and the Tech 77's

Yeah, there is that....
I think it's more that I'm definately getting a bike, but just torn between a BMX or a mountain bike. Had good times on both.

I was going to do the same thing...
but BMXs are rubbish anywhere appart from a carpark or skate park.
Mountain bikes are miles better for urban use tbh
also alot cooler imo...

That your bike mate? Always fancied getting into Downhill but the prices of a decent bike always put me off

Yeah, found a nice one with suspension, disc brakes, etc. Do fancy it, but the thought of a BMX again makes me buzz.

Yeah, It's quite 'hilly' round my way. Not sure I can be assed with an uphill slog on a BMX Coming down would be fun tho.

Nah, not mine Moe. I've just for a hardtail XC bike atm. I am temped to take out a bank loan to fund a decent freeride bike though
BMXs have rubbish brakes. Its much more rad to have hydraulic disc brake calipers
