My plans:

Get it lowered about 50ml all round.
Black angel eyes at the front. as i like them on quickies.
rear MR's.
Smoothed tail gate.
Maybe later days a GTI conversion with an s1 rally gearbox. as they are stronger if i remember.

GTI Leathers.

Either cyclones or VTS wheels. although i like the Raptors quite a lot.

Carbon Dash kit and other little trick interior details.

Only i.c.e im interested in is maybe a fold out dvd head unit. apart from that. im not all too fussed. I.C.E wise.

50mm drop? You can't i'm affraid, its 35 a notch
Only go one, two will look silly. 40mm drop on the front would make it look sweet. Nice, even though its French

I didn't till I had the Paxo done, mine's one notch and -40 springs fully stripped in the back so yours should look a tad lower at the back, it'll be best at that on standard shocks too.

yeah. Cheers matey. I'll leave it at one notch then. any more is inpractical probably. i need it as a daily driver so it needs to be sensible really. Its got a fair bit of goodies on it atm. current spec is:

2000 (X)
51k but being used daily
Powerflow cat back duel tip exhaust
Janspeed sport cat manifold
Gti front brake upgrade
Ecosse style forced induction (not in the best of condition but looking to sort that out)
Standard 14" raptor alloys including a spare (pirelli p600 on the spare) Dunlop sp200 tyres all round with good tread approx 3-4mm.
Toad ai606 alarm with dual zone proximity and pre warn sensor. Two sets of keys and alarm fobs.
Original radio with code.
French style plates included standard are on at present.

Excellent condition inside - scrubs up new !! No sunroof or aerial leak !
Exterior has the odd ding/dent and mark here and there only 2 that are visible really but otherwise excellent. Wheels are in good condition unmarked since ive owned it, what can I say was a females before hand.

Recent full service approx 1800 miles ago including timing belt water pump and new radiator.
Wont say fsh because its missed a stamp in the book, but receipts are there for work carried out. New clutch in September.
Ive owned it since January 2006 and loved every minute of it but it has to go as im about to start clocking up serious mileage with my new job. Going in for new brake pads Monday, oil and filter and a general look over.

Aiii, plus the pics showing it on a slight slope it normally looks flatter than that. Imagine how silly it'd look with two notches I nearly had that done but they talked me out of it. Glad they did!!

Each to there own but mines completely stripped at the back with one notch, -40 at the front and it sits level. Another 35mm on the back??
Not for me thanks, the opposite of a drag car look. Smooth...

The front bumper on that is a crime.

i'll go one notch. see what it looks like. then go more if i dont like it. simple as that

Im not looking for ultimate deckage. They sit quite low anyway. its standard suspension atm and it sits lower than my corsa does

The garage my mate took his 306 too got it lowered 50mm all round.

Theres 2 ways of lowering a torsion bar.

1. Just crank it round whilst its still on the car. (30-35mm a turn)
2. Take the actual bar out, twist and put back in. (10mm a turn)

TBH alot of garages will tell you that you can only do number 1 as taking the bar is a massive ballache.

Oh and BTW, it costs more to take the bar out and twist as it takes a good full day.

Nahhhhh

Monste Truckkk

Up to you at the end of the day will look 100x better than standard with just one notch anyway, and if you dnt like it you can always change it its not like youd need new springs you just have to get the torsion bar re-adjusted.
