I never used to bother even having one drink if i was going to drive.
Normally the only reason i would drink was to get drunk, so why start if you can't finish

When i first passed my test i wouldn't even contemplate it, but now i've been driving a while i don't mind havin' a pint with lunch and driving.
But i can't see the point if your going out drinking with mates, that and its a different ball game 'cus you could potentially be drinking on an empty stomach which is just silly if your driving.

Thats a shit statement.
Depends on how long your at the place, if your eating etc.
Example, go the pub for a meal, drink a pint, have food, play a bit of pool, come out 4 hours later......

I dont think so Dean. Im not judging, but unless im on holiday for eg. I won't drink in the day if theres even a slim possibility I could be driving later, and I make sure if I have a drink at night im not driving till the next morning - even then I make sure i've left enough time

I'm the same tomtom. I won't finish my beer and jump into my car.
I'll sit there for a bit and drink a couple of cokes or sumat. If I know were in the pub and out, i'll have a shandy.

In my younger years i've had 1 pint with a meal and end up having a pint of coke after because i drink a lot with a meal.
Now i hardly ever have a drink full stop. So even if i go to the pub with my mates then it'll either be a close one and i'll walk or if it's too far to walk i'll drive and only drink pop.

don't see why driving with a legal amount of alcohol in your system makes you a 'wanker'
