Ive been busy lately trying to get everything sorted for pvs, still got away to go but i'm getting there

In the last few weeks ive:

Fitted a calibra leather rear bench to match the front seats.

Got the tracking done

Lowered the rear a bit more

Helped/watched wayne aka wayne_rob fit a new clutch because the release bearing was doing my head in

Finally me and Wayne gave it a service, oil and filter, fuel filter and pollen filter.

the new bits

and the old bits

My next plans are removing some light rust, painting calipers and drums, doing some jobs on the interior and chopping up my cf rocker cover to fit on with the lexmaul

You said about the release bearing...is that a hissing noise when you put your foot on the clutch?

I get that on mine...quite annoying lol

Do you need to replace the bearing or can you leave it if you can live with the noise?lol

Just wondering incase I leave it and something happens?

I''l get some up soon tom or just come and have a look, you'll prob tell me to go lower though

D-A-V-E - If the release bearing totally goes then your clutch gets f**kd and you wont be able to put it in gear.

I was just going to change mine when it finally went but with going to pvs and driving to wales alot i didnt want it to go on me when not around mine with no recovery.
Mine lasted a year without it going but it will go eventually so is prob best to bite the bullet and do it as it will happen and probably be more hasstle and typically happen when your skint!

i'll give it a wash and take some pics at the weekend mark

you can just buy the bearing but whilst the gearbox is off you might aswel change the clutch anyway, saves doing it at a later date

before PVS i was really busy, i painted my drums and calipers, removed some rust, fitted my cf engine cover, put new gear knob and gaitor on, added my smackhead sticker and corsasport stickers, plus gave it a massive clean

Heres what it ended up looking like for PVS

On the way down

Camping friday night

Pissing down sunday morning

Good weather in the distance

Finally the weather brightened up in the afternoon

Didnt take anymore pics as the camera died

any comments welcome
