Was a Megs Quick Clay detailing kit with the spray.

Overall pretty unimpressed! All it did really was provide a smooth surface for the wax to be applied properley..didn't really do much else

I suppose i can't complain for a tenner!

When will people work out that clay does not get rid of swirls, if used wrongly it will create more swirls if anything!

It simply removes bonded on shite that a "bucket, sponge and fairy liquid" wont

I think Meguires have marketed well lately and that their products are probably reasonable but overpriced.
I'm sure you can get better products that are more low key/out of the lime light if you look a little harder.

Went through a phase with the red car of just cleaning it, did it ever 2-3 weeks with the clay, but polished and waxed every week

I'll probably do it once every couple of months on my new car

Did you have a look at the colour of the clay bar after doing a panel? It will have took an untold amount of crap off your paint

I did hear though that you wasn't supposed to use them too often?

Does a good job at removing tree sap & tar that otherwise you'll never remove reguardless of how much you clean your car.

Only down side I found is it highlights any flaws in the paintwork, so if your paintworks in general bad/tired condition its going to make it stand out more.

Yeah it showed all the swirls up even more

Would it be safe to Clay...then compound...then polish?
