FFS this month gets worse!!!

Stopped by an undercover bastard this mornign after (barely and not unsafely) goign through a red light! Got straight out and said you went througha red light, thats 3 points and £60 fine HARSH

Wasnt unsafe and he could have just had a chat, whiny bastard!

Then had problems as was in parents car and they couldnt find my insurance

No affect on Ins but Direct Line said it *may* affect my renewal come October (but unlikely all beign well)

Was a Vectra V6 Turbo :S

Yes :S But it had only just changed and I was alreayd moving... hence why I went through and it wasnt unsafe

Obviously Im not going to contest as I went through plain and simple but a talking to would have sufficed

I didnt have time to look back and check if I was gonna get rear ended if I brake dhard and stopped but the police cock (he was a right moaning cunt, other bloke was alright) said he was behind me an d was well behind

more likely to increase insurance than just having a speeding conviction.

How so? A TS10 indicates a one off offence... a speeding conviction refers to a likely habit in your driving technique IMO

Thank god they fined you robbo. I mean, now that your off the streets causing all that harm. You criminal you, just think of the carnage you caused before they gave you a fine, now youll think twice before driving safely...

I got flashed off a traffic light camera once, from then on I never ever chance it at red lights, I see the point of going through them on the change though,

Ive had my ABS cutting in trying to stop at red lights, how fucking safe is that?

something to do with being mor elikely to run a red light again and possibly hit a pedestrian who's crossing.

all bollocks i know but that's how it's assessed.

Your supposed to approach traffic lights cautiously though so if it does change red you can stop in time? Don't think you can complain really.

When I got flashed I thought arghhh shit im 17 and im getting done for running a red light

I suppose it is much more dangerous than speeding, much less avoidable though

the road I got flashed on is a 60mph road, I slowed down to about 40mph to go through the lights and they flicked to amber then red, It was pissing it down and I was 4 up in a 1.2 8v Corsa with Bike tyres on, I didnt think I could safely stop so I had a glance both ways and nothing was at the other sets of lights so I carried on

*flash* *flash* ahhhh fuck (didnt see the bastard thing till I had gone over the line )
