It's not harder as such, just restructured. There will be no direct access and also 2 years probation on 33BHP.

So I can't jump straight onto a R6? it needs to be 33bhp or less before I can get one?

looks like your stuck on a restricted R6 then

Bikes are dangerous anyway if you can jump straight onto something so quick, the 2 years probation will do you good

im not assuming you wont respect the bike as im sure you will, Im just saying thats the reasoning behind it

Who even bothers with the restrictor ?
My mate robberto crashed his gsxr, got hit by a car pulling out and he didnt have a full licence and they dident even bother check...His licence would have be void along with insurance ect..They dont enforce this law so it would be easyier to scrap it.
You will have to take a CBT before you can take the licence, CBT which is a loads of bulls is around £120..

I heard different things about the change in september, that you would have to have so many hours lessons under your belt before you could be put forwards to take the test and that the test was going to be a little longer... :S

After Sept you won't get insured without the certificate to say it's been restricted.

Thats how it should be now, but a lot don't check.
