Stuck for ideas.
the brief is to design a "Personal toolkit" to be sold at an appropriate superstore (ie tescos, halfords, pc world etc)
my initial idea was an auto electricians toolbox to be sold through halfords or other automotive stores but the tutor doesnt like the idea and said its just gonna turn into a normal toolbox other peoples ideas include a hangover kit (inc paracetamol, small bottle of booze etc)....a wine kit(bottle opener, bottle stop)....
so any one got any bright ideas? what would you find useful?

Tool kit but not tools?
Like a car show survival box that contains sandwiches, Coke, suncream and extra tent pegs?

So the tutor just wants to make sure you don't replicate anything that is already out there, therefore conventional stuff like handyman boxes are out of the question.
You basically need to pick a hobby and build a box from there.
Could do nightclub one with a disposable camera, VIP pass, business cards and a few nodders

there is a bit more to the brief but i was after ideas more than anything, i need to design one for mass production (donr cheap and economical), and then one for batch production ( better quality etc)
yeah he doesn't really want to replicate anything, needs to be original.
great ideas so far keep em coming

What about for musicians? DJs?
I've got a gig tool-kit that includes loads of spares for whatever instrument I'm playing.

Does it have to be a novelty, or something practical?
