my problem isnt so much what they look like, i personally dont like the look, but its more that they are off some shitty old cav that belongs in the skip, and reeks of doing stuff on the cheap

buy why spend money on wheels that don't fit properly i.e. 17's with the wrong et. when you can buy cheap vaux 15" wheels with the correct offset?

Cheap? I paid £150 inc delivery for my cav wheels and £240 for Toyo T1-R tyres
Would rather pay £390 and have 15" Vauxhall wheels wrapped in decent tyres than some expensive bling package deal of the wrong offset and shite budget "Stunner" etc tyres

why the feck does it matter what car they have come off!!
And do you not get the point people dont buy them because there so called "cheap" people buy them because they are perfect offset and therefore best possible handling of 15's
Ps. As for this thread! you'v been goin on about this since this morning, is this how exciting your sundays get

Mine ended up not being cheap
£90 for 5 wheels with 7 centres
£200 for powder coating
Then another £200 for rubber

There are much better looking vauxhall wheels than the Cav Gsi Wheels. I'd say the vast majority of people get them because of cost rather than anything else.
If cost's not an option, surely you'd buy some lightweight rims - Vauxhall rims are certainly not particularly light . Mates 15" Sxi wheels were heavier than the 17" OZ's he replaced them with, and the car handled alot better on the OZ's so i'd say it's more down to wheel selection than anything .
