With tax and everything going up was looking at pre 1972 cars that are cheap to run,reliable and cheap to buy etc,and have something a bit different?
Any ideas?

dont think anything that age will be 100% reliable no matter how good it is.

Why not just get a cheap to run modern car if cheap running costs are all you want?

My mum had one of these, an MGB GT 1979. To this day she wished she still had it!

Mgb gt is the Hatchback version,the midget is convertible.

I just love the midget for sum reason,first time i went in one ii was 13 and loved them ever since,if my garage wasnt full of junk i would of bought one ages ago

Fiat x19 i always thought the door handles on them where ugly and the plastic bit behind the back window,vent thing is it? was damn ugly lol..otherwise their nice cars

a mate of mine had viva about two years ago. resprayed in rio verde with roystyles. looked the dogs but it was rotted to hell.

MK1 Escorts.

I've and it was alright on the petrol, plus the X-Flow was rock solid and easy as pie to fix if anything did go wrong . . . plus cheap as chips for parts
