was all set to sell the car today

rang the bloke yesterday said he would be at mine for 2pm ish

came to 2pm today no herd anything? rang him up, hung up on me straight away. got a txt straight after saying sorry was a copper behind him and he couldnt answer the phone thought ok, txt him asking where he was, said he was 2 hours away as he got stuck in traffic, thought ok bank holiday no matter

now got tried ringing and no answer? sent a few txt's still no answer so i think im gunna give up

just paranoid that its gunna get nicked or something tonight now

Yep its a pain. I stayed in many a time when selling my old one when I had better things to be doing only for them not to show up


Changing your mind isnt the problem its just nice it they would call you or something

Fuck sake,thats pants,if ur paranoid about it being stole make it less stealable lol,remove spark plug or something and block it in ya drive way

Best one I had was "came to your house but you wasnt in" when I had clearly staying in all day to see them

Never had a problem selling cars tbh, but I can imagine how you feel about being worried

People should just be blunt and honest as its alot easier for all involved.

keep an eye on the car. or move it into a garage away safe

im selling the mondeo no luck in 5 months.

when i sold my cossie had at least 8 tyre kickers turn up test piloting not interested in inspecting any paper work or checking under the car etc

major pain the the ass

In the end a bloke rang up came from other side of the country and drove it away there and then for full asking price

I prefer they hadnt if they were tyre kicking fookin badgers!

The amount of risk involved giving out demos left right and centre!
