Range Rover Sport...And it wasnt any where as good as what i thought it was going to be.
My cousin just bought it, Its white with black leather and white piping. Its a nice car but nothing special, My uncle (his dad ) has the Range Rover Vogue and you feel more superior in that compared to the sport.
Anyone else drove one and had the same disappointment?
Its the exact same as this one:

It IS nice to drive and lovely noise off of it, But i was expecting more tbh.

Sorry but wtf
Even the TDi is nice to drive, just comfy and feels nice. Been out in a sport and it was no slouch.
Disclaimer I am not belitling your opinion as you clearly have driven more Ranges than me.

I never said it wasnt nice to drive, I said i was expecting more from it.
The way it looks sportier than the Range Rover Vogue and the Sport badge its carrying suggests it should have something more. Just dont think Land Rover can justify the Sport badge with this one.

yeah, Fair point , well made.
It is, Its a 'I could have a Range Rover but i want to pay more for my fuel and tax'.
Wouldnt mind one, Just couldnt justify the extra buddah over a Vogue.
The Project Kahn however....

Ma dad drove one said it wasn't very nice to drive compared to X5's etc, but thought the interior is better than most in the range.

Yup, X5 deserves a sport badge over the RRS. The X5 has comfort and oomphh too it.
The only way to describe the RRS is a disabled Giraffe, All high up but felt like it didnt know what to do.
Funnily enough, My cousin traded in his 3.0d X5 for this. Bad move.

No idea, its an 08 plate one, couldn't get any higher on the spec apparently. Air suspension is cool

I was behind one yesterday as it went round a roundabout, there wasn't any visble body roll at all. It was quick to while exiting, I was quite suprised.

i dont see the appeal of a sporty 4x4/suv its a concept i just dont get.
That said they must be good because RR sports are ten to the penny round here

The only reason people are suprised is because its a big car doing something a big car shouldnt , But when they hype it up and say this and that and slap on a Sport badge you'd expect it to be worthwhile of not buying an X5 but its far from it.
I'd have a medium spec X5 anyday over an RRS.
