Is the astra a 1.6 8v? Ive got one of them and its not exactly fast, wouldnt say either where so bhp figures are probably irrelevant, probably not much in it power to wieght.

yeah the astras a 1.4 16v, i was saying my corsa is an 8v
my mum just put me on her insurance for her astra and my corsa feels nippier

Whats the question exactly? How much more bhp has the astra got or which is quicker? Id say the Astra would be quicker.

corsa will probably be quicker. the 1.4 astra's aren't really anything to write home about i don't think

Niether are worth mentioning probably.
I think i timed 14 seconds in my 1.6 8v arsing around.

That'll be the 1.4 16v SRi which you don't have?
The Corsa will probably be slightly quicker regardless.

They did do 8v SRi's iirc. DJMartin had one. I think
