Bought a 106 GTi the other week
Some of you have probably seen it before. Really pleased with it.
Not driving it yet, as i'm tidying it up, and waiting for the insurance to run out on the sport.
Anyway, here's the basic spec...
Raceland 4-2-1 stainless manifold
Full Magnex exhaust with twin oval tail pipes & Magnex Decat
Ram Air induction kit
Griffiths Quickshift
Red S1 Rallye seatbelts
Brembo Max discs with greenstuff pads
Chrome show cage
Nissns aluminium radiator
OMP Upper & Lower strut braces
PI lowering kit -60mm
15" speedline 205 gti alloys in BMW white
And Pics...

Oh yeh, Cleaned the corsa too...

These 106's obviously aren't that light.

I recommend the Nxt Generation Spray Wax from Megs. Get very good results. And less effort

Yeh thats what i meant by megs wax. lol
Only thing is that it takes ages to clear the white dust/wax deposits on black.

It's very good on glass to except I inadvertently put it on my windscreen - will see how the wipers react in the wet

Haven't driven it much . (Only when i bought it). But it feels like a go-kart tbf. Literally feel as-if you are in contact with the road.
The redline is at 8k IIRC which i didnt expect when i first drove it.
Will let you know when i'm insured on it and take it for a proper dirve.

Thanks wooly, gave it a good valet today! Was filthy inside. Should have seen the colour of the water that came out of it. Just need to tidy up the engine bay now

It honestly breaks my heart to see it on someone elses drive way
I was soooooooo close to buying it back off the lad
Every mod on the car was done by myself mate so any questions just ask. The car handled superbly when I had it and there is a special road up my way that took major balls to drive flat out on and in all honesty the 106 was and still is the only car i've been in that can do it

The inside was like new when I had it as well.
Here are a few pics of it when I first bought it, you'll notice the inside was super clean and the leather looked brand new

This was the day I got my wheels back after being painted white

The day I got the raceland manifold and decat fitted

And the finished product

One of the last pics took of it 2 days before I sold it
