hi all

ive got a kenwood 1000w amp running in my corsa and when i turn it up after about 2 mins it just cuts out and blows the inline fuse does anybody know what this cud be because its only its turned up as if its on quietly it stays on but the minute its turned up it blows the fuse

could be earth mate or rong size cable

its under the bcak seat attached to the front seat clips that goes to the chassis

ive got mine in a similar place. have you ground the surface down first of all to get a god connection if so might just be that you have too little of a fuse

well the fuse in the inline fuse i think is 50amps (gold ended type)

and the fuse in the amp is 40 (blade type)
