Be respectful, you still need a reference in the future...

Mine was.....

Dear Claire

I would like to hand in my resignation from Simmons and Simmons with immediate effect as of 21st February 2008. It has been an interesting 4 years with Simmons but I feel I need to move on to further my career.

Regards

And they know I have hated being here the last few months and have made it completley clear... But this will be on record. Be polite.

Awritey Troops,

Listen up, I dont think i'll be in for the week commencing the 23rd of March, Or any other for that matter.

My reason being that i dont feel my carrer is furthering any more in here and i feel thta i need to change job to allow this to happen, Besides Stephanie the Cleaner has stopped giving me head in the file room because 'I keep getting it in her eye' What a load of bollocks.

Anyway, Was good working with you all and i appreciate the oppurtunity you have gave me.

Also, You might want to check the order for Taiwan, It MIGHT hav went to Canada.

Kind Regards,

Matt

P.s If you arrange a leaving party, Do not invite Stephanie, Im not allowed within 50 yards of her or her home, Damn law.

I've worked for some big assed companies dude, never had to go to that much detail.

It might depend on your job position i guess, but as an IT monkie, never had to go that far. Only needs to be short and to the point.
