About a year ago I was having trouble removing my headunit from its casing, so i used the only thing I had avaliable at the time... my car key. I prised the headunit out, but bent my key at a 45 degree angle
Bent it back again so it was perfectly straight, but you could still tell where it had been bent because of the crease. Didn't think much of it, and after it being used for over 300 days it finally snapped inside the ignition. Had to fork out £120 to get it home, and a further £80 for a new barrel. Using my spare at the moment, but i'm really missing my central locking
I need a new key from vauxhall I assume? Any idea on how much it'll cost (just to get the key, not for it to be programmed). Will try vauxhall tomorrow but just a rough idea if possible
2003 Corsa C btw.

go to a locksmiths or car shop or motorfactors that cuts keys. We do em for £25 off the old key and it takes about 3 mins, £70 is rediculous.

Do they include the central locking controls though? The £70-90 is what vauhxall charge for a new key, but this includes the central locking controls on the key i believe.
