Need some advice people. I say a mate, hes someone I've known for a few years, not that well mainly through football and joined our team this year.

Basically he never paid his signing on fee, got sent off and never paid it and owes me/football club into 3 figures!

How should I go about getting the money back. He has owed this since July/August time and at Xmas said he had money troubles and would pay back x amount a month. Guess what I've seen nothing and hes made no effort at all. I asked him in the week to bring the first installment to football yesterday and he didnt turn up and without letting me know (was the last game). Tried ringing and no answer, so text him saying enoughs enough and I want it all back within the next few days. Surprise surprise no answer!

What do I do next?? Cheers

did he not sign something agreeing to pay to money to the football for training/games?

my brother has to do that at the start of every football season.

that would be a legally binding contract.

Pow- u may well do I would rather settle it legally

You have to sign a registration form, I can stop him signing playing for other teams in our league until all outstanding monies are owed but thats about it I think.

keep him registered to your club, then he wont be able to play for another team in the same league if you refuse a transfer. he'll only be released once he's paid his debts.

also if he turns up on a sat/sun....make sure he doesnt play, and knows why he's not playing
