Last week my Mum came in and told me Mrs Parson died last week.

Mrs Parson was a wee lady lived a few doors down and was lovely, Used to say hi all the time when she passed and always said how nice my car was even though she didnt have a clue when i was washing or polishing. She used to make jokes all the time and have a wee laugh to herself.

One time she even came out in her house coat to tell me my interior light was on at half 12 in the morning. I always felt sorry for her cos she was always on her own and never complained or moaned and always smiling.

For that whole day i was just thinking how you dont appreciate someone till there gone and made me think abotu all the people iv lost in life and pretty much got down about it and thought about it on and off over the last few days.

Today, I was taking my subwoofer out my boot and heard someone behind me say 'So its you that makes the racket haha'

Turned around and Mrs Parson was standing with Asda bags full of shopping. I got such a fright i shouted 'FUCK ME' and she just looked at me like

I didnt know what to say and just blurted out 'I thought you were dead'.

She replied 'Tell your mum i was asking for her and thank her for the card'

Then she walked away.

As it happens the old guy next door got the names mixed up and it was another woman who died.

Moral of the story : Dont send Deepest Sympathy cards to someones daughter untill you know there defineltley not coming back.

Not as funny as my cat getting run over and dying then burying it.

Haha.

Turned out it wasnt actually our cat... just one that looked the same. So we had to dig it up and put a note in spar.

There was a post about it in here ages ago.

My mum came to work and told me the cat was dead so they let me go home and everything. I was in tears.

Why would your mum send a sympathy card if she lives on her own
